Details
This 2009 Bertram 630 Open presents in immaculate condition and must be seen to be believed. There are low hours on the twin MTU 16V2000 (2000hp) diesel engines that allow this vessel to cruise comfortably at 25 to 30 knots while being able to sprint to 40 knots if required. Built by Bertram USA in their Miami factory to Australian CE specification, there were many factory upgrades fitted including:
-The largest engine option available - MTU 16V2000 (2000hp)
-Twin Kohler 22kw generators
-Twin Mitsubishi Anti-roll Gyros
-Pipewelders tuna tower
-Pipewelders outriggers
-Electric teaser reals
-Eskimo ice chipper to the transom fish box
-Veem propellers
-Sidepower bow thruster

In addition to the long list of standard Bertram inclusions and almost all the factory options fitted, this vessel has been further upgraded and improved in recent years with additional fishing rod storage, a 45kg stainless steel Ultra anchor, Steelhead Marine hydraulic davit, solid teak cockpit coaming, new twin Simrad GPS/fish finders and new upholstery/clears.

This vessel is just as well set up for those longer trips exploring remote parts of Australia as it is for serious offshore fishing. There is no shortage of refrigeration and freezer space (6 in total onboard plus an icemaker), endless freshwater with an FCI watermaker and a washer/dryer.
